Horse Limb Bones

Horse femur.

Horse 1st phalange (hoof core) sitting upside down, along with the 2nd phalange (toe bone).

Horse 3rd phalange (toe bone).

Horse hoof core leading up the leg to the toe bones, radius, ulna and humerus.

Horse femur. This limb bone was probably broken up when the animal first died, either from getting washed around on the bottom or from another animal stepping on it.
