A flatlander climbs

I have been to Yellowstone twice over the past 5 years. The first time, I lasted only 3 days. Unaccustomed to mountains, the flat-lander in me couldn't adjust quickly enough. I left embarassed, feeling the height had defeated me. This in spite of bicycling 6,000 miles in the 80s and climbing 11 mountain passes, one of which was in Yellowstone.

The second time I went with some fellow photogs so I could learn more about cameras and lenses, and maybe face the heights with company.

Below are photos from both trips, without captions. I wanted the images to tell a story without words.

Andale!
